So I just started getting up way early in the morning; to make breakfast for my husband I get really sick to my stomache and my chest feels funny. I get up at 3:00 am or 2:30 am. im 22 realy skinny but doctor says weight has been constant so im not sickly skinny :P its normal. So what is it? I thought since we eat our meals about 4 hours apart and go to bed at 10 pm then wake up about 4 hours after I go to bed...
Well Maybe just maybe we are all hungry <3 its makes simple sence to me; no huge medical mystery... However we are all from different health backgrounds and you should call a pharmicist or doctor if you are truly worried stressing about it wont help your situation just keep calm and ask questions to people of wisdom and knowledge normal people <3 lol

Basically it was because of allergies. As I slept, mucous and other stuff would drip down into my stomach. Causing it to overproduce acid to clear it out as I slept. So when I would wake up in the morning, my stomach had an excess of acid, and no food to be dissolved by it. Leading to horrible stomach problems that made me want to call in to work almost every day.

I'm 22, male, not in good shape. I have had the same kinda pain with a dull constant pain in my upper stomach with a extreme nausea felling. I have had a endoscopy (where they put the camera down your throat). I supposedly had gastritis and if I go on a bland diet its supposed to help. I've tried that and it seems like I can go longer without getting sick in the mornings. I have a horrible sleeping schedule and am stuck on the night shift. If I go to sleep at 9am and wake up at 5pm i feel fine, but if I go to sleep at 9pm and wake up at 5am i will always be sick. Idk if this is because my sleeping schedule has been reversed over time or what. I have had this problem for 6 years. I used to throw up every morning before school. I still do when I wake up early. I do smoke, marijuana and cigarettes over the last 6 years. If I smoke a cig in the morning ill throw up instantly unless I wait at least a half hour. If im feeling really bad and smoke a joint in the morning ill throw up right away as well. But if I can smoke the joint without throwing up when im done, the sickness is gone for the rest of the day. I have been trying different things for years to see whats wrong with me.
The only things i can figure out is if i go on a bland diet it will happen less often, If I eat late before i go to sleep it will make me hungry in the morning and not sick. If i smell or taste anything bad in the mornings ill get sick. If i sleep longer i will feel better when i wake up. If I drink water in the morning it will make the nausea felling go away sometimes. If I manage to smoke marijuana without getting sick (most of the time i wont) then it goes away. If i push on my upper stomach or put pressure on it with a pillow or anything else the dull pain goes away.
I'm not sure how to fix it or what I really have. I still need to go for some blood work to find out more info. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone else. I know how much this sucks and how depressing it is to know you will wake up tomorrow sick and the next day and the next. For me its even worse, I have back problems and other issues so my whole mid section just feels like its falling apart. Good luck to everyone on beating whatever ills us.

Go get checked by a lyme literate doctor! Sounds like lyme but it has to be a doctor that knows how to give proper blood tests for lyme.

The doctors sure are a bunch of m****s... the whole internet is full of people having this same problem, myself included, yet there is no obvious solution.
I'm 23 years old, I didn't weigh myself in a long time, but I think I must be around 77kgs (~154 lbs.) at a height of ~182 cm. I am somewhat muscular, but I don't exercise a lot, I spend most of my time in front of a computer. Since I am able to do 10 push-ups, I consider my physical condition to be good enough.
I, too, have this morning sickness if I sleep too little or wake up too early. Usually I am able to control this problem, so I only actually throw up very rarely. Usually it goes away between 12PM-2PM. But while it lasts, all sickening things, well, they make me sick, like seeing dead fish or chicken, sensing bad smells, like garbage or cigarette smoke, eating certain things like bananas, apples and anything that looks or feels slimy or jelly. I brush my teeth every morning when I wake up and every evening (or night I would say) before I go to sleep. Even toothpaste can make me feel nauseous (in the morning only) or when I reach with my toothbrush all the way to my wisdom teeth. There is undoubtedly a psychological component to this, because if I think at anything that makes me sick, I feel sicker, but only in the morning.
Sometimes I feel so bad, that I cannot eat anything in the morning, sometimes I can't even drink water. I threw up twice in recent times, once there was this yellow-green stuff, it wasn't acidic at all, I didn't feel burned or something, and the other, there was almost nothing, it looked like foamy saliva. I don't think it has anything to do with dehydration or low sugar levels.
If I'm somewhat stressed or anxious, it may have an impact, but I don't really have any reason to feel stressed or depressed, yes I am also jobless, but I don't care, I have plenty of interesting stuff to do, there's no more school, no more exams. Sure, I get annoyed sometimes by some people or by the world I live in, but it's not the kind of thing that doesn't let you sleep at night.
I've been on Zoloft, somewhat recently, for another problem, and I didn't have this problem while taking it (it wasn't much of a problem even before I took it), but it's irrelevant anyway, since I was sleeping around 12 hours per day or even more, like from 10PM to 12PM. Anyway I'm glad I got rid of this chemical stuff along with the other medication that had listed diabetes as a side effect, I gained a lot of weight without noticing, my normal weight was 68-74 kg, and suddenly I was 88kg. I tried to lose weight, but I only lost about 3kgs. However, when I gave up the medication I started losing weight very fast, I don't know exactly how much I weigh now, but my abs are starting to show up again.
I think that our problem is most likely that gastroparesis. Sometimes I feel some pain when I stretch my neck, I don't move my neck a lot when I'm on the computer, but I'm very comfy in my chair. However, when I lie in bed to sleep or watch TV, I can't find a comfortable position, all positions I try put some tension on the neck. Also I read another forum post, and the only one who cured himself didn't mention gastroparesis, but he said that he went to a chiropractor that explained to him that the problem was some nerves that pass through the neck that were obstructed or strained, and after the treatment, he said there was no more morning sickness.
So I guess I will try myself some neck stretching and massage, since I don't know where could I find a chiropractor, and maybe some supplements for the liver.

You should all check yourselves for the following symptoms. Are you ever dizzy going from a sitting to standing position? Do you get a very red face while exercising and sweat very little? Are your hands and feet cold all the time? Are you cold all the time and people around you are warm? Do you fell extremely bad from alcohol the next day after have just a social drink? If you said yes to some of these, you might be severely dehydrated. You might be saying I drink a lot of tea, coffee and soda during the day. Even worse, they will act as a diuretic and make your body worse.
You might have a condition know as nuero cardiogenic syncope. You might say no, however, the only real way to know is to see a cardiologist. This doctor will perform an inexpensive test called a "tilt test".
You will fast overnight, then the place you on a flat table and secure your body. They raise you to a standing position slowly, and then they place a nitroglycerin pill under your tongue. If you pass out, you have it. They prescribe an inexpensive pill, you take it sometime twice a day and drink lots of water. And then you get your life back. In case most of you think your not dehydrated, you most likely are.
Your intake of water is easily calculated. Take your total body wait and divide it by two. The take that number and turn in into ounces. If you weight 120 pounds, you should be drinking sixty ounces of water/ electrolyte a day. A two hundred pound man should be drinking 100 ounces a day. That's just under a gallon. This should be throughout the day, not all at once. Too much water at one time is not good for your either. Spread out your water. Try getting a bottle down before you leave in the morning. More before bedtime can help you get up in the morning. Remember the water/electrolyte combination. You need both, but too much electrolyte can send your sugar levels up and make you gain weight. You can either drink one without sugar, or go to your health food store and purchase the packages to mix into your water that don't contain large amounts of sugar.
Remember that this is a problem you must solve yourself. Most medical professionals will not come up with this because most are taught a pill can solve every condition and symptom. My family members doctor never found this. Her friend had this condition and the same symptoms. My family member went to see the same doctor, got the same test and was diagnosed properly. If you doctor tries to put you on anxiety medication or an anti-depressant, you might want a second opinion.
If you have this condition, a pill is capable of solving your symptoms, but not without proper hydration. Did I mention proper hydration is the key to the success of this working? This pill can't really help you properly without enough hydration.
The pill my family member takes is called Midodrine. The prescription is about $4.00 if you have insurance.
Find a cardiologist that will perform this test if you have the symptoms. Some will avoid this test because they don't make much money doing the test. Most people that have this condition have low blood pressure. When your pressure gets too low, your body will sometimes try and compensate by raising your pressure. Your doctor can only be the one to really diagnose this condition.
Some have this condition so serious, they require a pacemaker. If you have this condition, the medication will raise your blood pressure by tightening your vessels and circulatory system causing your pressure to come up. If your condition is so severe you need a doctor today, go see a doctor and quit trying to self diagnose.
Try this one if your not in immediate danger. Before going to a doctor, do yourself a favor. Get a blood pressure machine. Take your pressure before getting out of bed, after you get up and move around, then after meals. Take it several times a day, then take your log to the doctor with you. If would hurt to take your sugar levels just the same way. That way your doctor will know if you have sugar issues. If your going to get accurate sugar levels, don't have sweets for breakfast or drink soda. Your sugar is going to be high, along with your blood pressure if you drink caffeinated coffee.
A doctor may put you on a monitor you wear under your clothes. This will tell them about your heart rhythm and your pulse. You don't just walk in a get this test performed.
I hope this helps some. I have a family member with this condition. This can also be brought on by trauma. My family member was put on a beta blocker by a doctor. This only made the blood pressure even worse. I hope this helps anyone that thinks or does have this condition and doesn't know it.

It's not Ulcers. I have the same thing they all do. This is much different. Ulcers have a very distinct pain and feeling...not the same.
