I'm sixteen and a female. Most morning's when I wake up I feel like I am going to throw up. I force myself to eat and the feeling subsides. Sometimes it continues on and off through out the day. I'm on my period so I'm not pregnant. I'm sick of feeling sick all the time. Please help.

Hello again,
I don't know what worked and what didn't, but I feel better.
I took some liver stuff and some swedish drops and I realized that my liver wasn't the problem, but they made me feel better, especially the drops helped me not catch a cold or the flu, although I was cold and I had intense intellectual activity.
I included neck exercises in my exercise routine and I don't know if they help, but now I feel my neck much lighter.
I have read that the lymphatic system needs exercise too, and that our problem might have something to do with the lymphatic system, instead of the nerves passing through the neck. To get your lymphatic system working, you need gentle movement throughout the day, and I was only doing intense 5 minute workouts while spending the rest of the day in my chair, so no wonder I easily felt poisoned when I ate something less healthy. Something like tai chi should help, or even move a little while sitting or standing, there always is some movement you can do.
I also wondered if it has anything to do with the endocrine system, with some glands, especially the thyroid, since when I was sick I felt it close to it in my neck. And I understood that it's activity depends on selenium and iodine and their level in the food you eat depends on whether the soil in which the vegetables grow contains them or not, but that they are common in sea food, so I ate some seafood pizzas. I don't know if it helped, but it was tasty.
Also, even in cold, I had sweaty palms, especially for the hand I held my mouse with. Someone said it might be a kidney problem. I don't know if it really was a kidney problem, but that helps eliminate toxins, so the parsley, lemon juice and field horsetail tea helped make me feel better.
The weather has been very chaotic. It's supposed to be spring, and there have been some warm days, but the cold came back several times. The air pressure and humidity are also uncomfortable. And the darkness doesn't help my sleep.
Mint tea also helps, and I like it very much, it is good for your whole digestive system, and it kills bacteria in your mouth.
And very importantly, I stopped brushing my teeth in the morning. Today I forgot not to brush my teeth and I felt somewhat sick again. It's probably that fluoride and who knows what else they put in it.
So, all this helped me feel better. Although I don't feel sickness anymore, I still don't wake up hungry, and I am still reluctant to eat in the morning, depending on how tired I feel. It's like my otherwise high metabolism has a slow start. Probably when summer comes, I will feel even better. And yes, avoiding dehydration is very important for your health, but it's only a part of the problem.

It's not being out of work or stress. And it's not seasonal. I have this same problem. Last July I even checked myself into the emergency room because I felt so bad. Now I've... learned to live with it best I can. But it makes life difficult. I can't go to a restaurant and eat with my family in peace because I never know when the feeling is going to come on again. Some days are fine. Others... the blah feeling lasts all day long where I can't eat.
I've been experimenting with different things.
I agree with one post that this may be candida - a yeast overgrowth that unchecked can cause IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). What happens is that the yeast feed off the sugar/carbs we eat and spread throughout our intestinal tract. They form masses that poke microscopic holes in our intestinal wall.
If you've ever been around a bake shop or baked bread then you'll know that as soon as the bread comes out... before it has cured... if you poke it open, the bread will release horrible fumes (like ammonia) that will sting your nose if inhaled.
That is what the yeast is doing inside our intestines!
All those toxic fumes are being discharged... and once the yeast have broken through the intestinal wall(s), they then release these fumes into the bloodstream. THAT is the feeling we are having.
So what do we do?
We must first get the yeast in check. And you do this through PROBIOTICS.
We live in a society where everything is antibiotics (anti - life "bio"). Antibiotics are shot into chickens, beef, etc. and they are prescribed for just about everything from colds to flus.
Antibiotics work but they work too well. They don't differentiate between the good and the bad bacteria/fungus (like yeast). So they kill everything.
Thing is... we need good bacteria in our intestinal tract to help in digesting and assimilating our food. Antibiotics wipes these good bacteria out.
And if the good bacteria are not there when we eat yeast (bread, beer, etc.) then there is nothing to prevent the yeast from spreading like wildfire.
Probiotics (at least 15 billion daily - several different strains) will replenish the intestinal tract and help in killing off the bad bacteria.
Word of caution here: I found that when I supplement with 15-30 billion good bacteria every evening, I feel horrible in the mornings. But you do anyway right? This is temporary. You will notice horrible smelling loose stools in the mornings... this is the dead yeast being discharged from your system.
Depending on how infested you are... it may take a very long time to kill off the yeast. Continue the probiotics, lay off the yeast-laden products, and eat healthy foods.
But how do you kill off the yeast?
I've been taking a therapeutic-grade oil (melaleuca alternifolia) internally - 10 drops before bed, 10 upon waking... also known as "tea tree oil" this product is one of the strongest antifungal and antibacterial agents known to man. BUT BEWARE... there are many companies selling "pure" "100%" melaleuca essential oil... and they are anything but. Take these and you'll get sick. They are cut with synthetic chemicals and fillers. Seek out a Young Living Essential Oil distributor and buy the oil there. Young Living puts every batch of their oils through stringent tests. Yes they are more expensive... but you know what you're getting.
As an alternative, search Amazon for a "yeast cleanse". There are many products - read the reviews. Have not tried any of these so don't know what to recommend.
In summary:
1) stop easting yeast foods.
2) supplement with a good blend of probiotics (at least 15 billion daily)
3) do a yeast cleanse.
Hope that helps you as it is helping (and has helped) me.

I'm 18 and healthy as can be but this happens to me as well, i believe i know what's causing this and how to stop it. For me the sickness goes away, and quick when I breath fresh air. You can actually feel the sickness just stop instantly. I think it has something to do with breathing the same non circulating air that builds up more carbon dioxide causing a sickening feeling after breathing it for hours. Hope it helps you guys.. I've only tested this once but it works great. Just crack a window :D

There is so much wrong with this post- You're smoking cigarettes, while on medication, for a LIVER transplant, and birth control.
You should consider quitting cigarettes. As it increases the terrible risks in birth control, and probably your medication AND it will severely damage your liver.. !!!!!
Not to mention you forget to take your pill, and double dose the next day, if you do that often, it will severely affect your hormones!

I wonder about this I have the same issue but only if I get up early, meaning earlier than 8 or 9 am, alot of mornings that I wake up at 5 for work I'm very sick to my stomach. I smoke but usually only at work and never before bed. I know for 100% pregnancy isn't the cause it is weird.

My issue is extremely similar, for the last few months I have been having that sick to my stomach feeling, I contributed most of it to stress at work and my manager. Recently everyone got a shake up in their work schedules and their team managers. My new schedule has me going in at 6am which is a definite difference from 1:30pm. Because of this change I eat earlier, go to bed earlier and always make sure I have a drink on my night stand. My alarm is set for 4:50am. My body wakes me up between 4am and 4:30am, sick to my stomach. Things have gotten so much better for me at work since the change in manager, so I really can't contribute it to stress now. Sometimes I feel like I have to try going number 2 first and if I still feel sick I have to dry heave into the bathroom sink. Sometimes the muscles contracting make me feel alittle better, nothing usually comes up. And after a few hrs being at work or being awake it goes away. Sometimes it comes in waves and I'll be sitting at my desk, get hot, sweaty and sick to my stomach. I've gone to the dr's, he gave me anxiety meds and depression meds that lasted a month. He gave me sample packs of the depression meds and when it was time to get a real script my insurance wouldn't cover it. I'm at a loss. I don't know what to do anymore. I am SOOO TIRED of waking up every morning before my alarm, on the verge of throwing up and theres nothing even coming up. And it only seems to be days I have to wake up early.

Feeling it right now, It usually passes after 30 minutes or so, but some days I wake up (only in the morning) and feel like throwing up immediately. Its a very Flu like feeling. After eating and drinking something I feel a bit better. I thought it was low blood sugar or something as diabetics can get something very similair.

I'm 52, and I've been enduring waking up most days with a queasy stomach since I was a teenager. I saw a Gastero doctor some years ago, and he diagnosed me as having a hyperactive gall bladder. These daily episodes to say the least have always been a burden to awake to. I typically feel very queasy and experience belching , but almost never actually throw up. Most days, it is around 10-11 am when I feel like eating some breakfast. This meal never goes down easy, and I usually experience alot of belching, but it is usually during breakfast when these episodes tend to peak for me, and my stomach can feel relatively normal for the rest of the day. Like many of us, as I start the process of gradually waking up each day, I experience some anxiety about my day ahead, which of course only aggravates my sick belly. I do take Nexium before bed, but that doesn't prevent these daily episodes for me. For 20 years now, I have also slept on a bedge, which is a huge wedge that keeps my stomach acids down. So, I've done about as much as I can over the years to address this, but still little to no progress in controlling this queasy stomach I awake with daily. Yep, you guessed it, I hate mornings.
