I have just entered the menopause. The menopause has been really hard on me and I have been having hot flushes, palpitations, mood swings, putting on weight... the whole lot. Because I am obviously not coping well I went to the doctor, and am now on norethisterone 5mg. It seems my blood pressure has gone up since using norethisterone - I measure myself regularly. Can this be a side effect of the norethisterone?
