i was wondering if there are any really bad side effects with smoking while being on accutane. i know you shouldn't be, but just wondering. for example, would your acne flare up more, mood swings, etc.
this is my second time to start accutane and the first time i had no side affects because of smoking. Besides being more dehydrated but thats about it. I dont think it effects you very much.
Actually it does affect you very much! I'm on accutane right now and the reason why you shouldn't smoke is because h concentrated froms of vitamin A (which is what accutane is) mixed with cigarettes bumps up your chances of getting cancer about 70%, so if you're on accutane and smoking over long periods of time you're in very very high risk for lung cancer. You should cut back as much as possible.
