How long have you been on the birth control pill? Chances are smaller that you've gotten pregnant the longer you've been on the pill, but 5 skipped pills definitely are enough for you not to be protected. So, yes, you could be pregnant and unless you take the blood pregnancy test at the doctor's, you will have to wait at least two weeks so that you can take the home pregnancy test.
