hi my uncle is going in for surgery on monday for his sleep apnea. he is having his tonsils out and also the dangly thing at the back of his throat(sorry cant remember what is called) shortened. the nurse has told him repeatedly how extremely painfull the shortening of the dangly thing will be. i just wondered if anyone had had this done and would they be able to help explain what happens how painfull etc so i can let him know. many thanks for reading.
