I have had sleep paralysis for a couple years now but for awhile i did no l know what it was. The past 2 nights in a row ive had paralysis with lucid dreams and outer body experiences. Although I have had same physical feelings as you all. My paralysis is a bit different. Mine happens as soon as I am falling asleep and fall into rem. I have no frightening beings or loud noises. I have an energy current running thru my body and chills running from my neck to my back. I have done research on the topic and as soon as I feel the paralysis I embrace the feelings and do not get freaked out. This allows me to be in a half awake half asleep state to which I can control my dreams to some degree. This paralysis is a my stepping stone to have lucid dreams and meaningful dreams. Feelings of floating and out of body experiences lookin down on my self. I'm am sorry To hear about everybody's nightmare and dark paralysis but I am just sharing my common sleep paralysis experiences. I have learned to embrace them and take it as a part of my nightlife. And it has been very meaningful. I also started to write in a journal about my paralysis and lucid dreams which help me to remember dreams and also encourage the lucidity of my dreams.
