Hi, I am 24 years old male and I have very specific problem. I have slight fever every evening while during a day everything is fine. I don't know what may be the reason for it but it really annoys me and I become very nervous because of it. If someone had similar problem please share with me your experiences?

If it showed mold maybe there is mold in your house which is causing the reaction.

I have had the same thing for a few weeks and haven't been able to get out of my own way. I fall asleep several times during the day but most night have severe insomnia. Boiling myself in a hot shower helps but it doesn't stop the chills and 99 to 100 degree temps. No temp during the day!!

Where are all the real doctors out there???? I went through this for years until I got got so sick I was hospitalized with respiratory failure. After that it took two more years and three trips to the Mayo Clinic to get a diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disease.... This is the hallmark of many autoimmune diseases but not all are rare. If all the doc's you go to blow you off or decide it's no big deal, don't listen. Go to a large center, a teaching hospital or a university with a medical school, the biggest you can get to. and do your research! These doc's don't know what they haven't been exposed to. And do not give up!
Thanks a lot
I'm also the same to you.
well said Amir Shaban, M.D. sir, it might be flu or something like that. Better to consult a doctor is needed for inconsistent fever.
I too have had the same problem, FOR FIVE+ YEARS. I've been tested for many things, all fine. The only thing that came up was a "highly positive mono". I've had this test (Iga, Igg, Igm?) with the same result 4 times over the past few years. Finally, an infectious disease doctor checked the EBV (Mono) DNA and it was negative, indicating that the previous testing were false positives and a result of cross-reactivity. To what - no doctor has been able to tell me. In fact, I am routinely dismissed or sent to psychiatrist. Still having fevers and feeling flu like sick most nights. At any rate. ..since I've had it for over 5 years - I don't think we'll die from it. Maybe if enough doctors come down with it we'll get an answer.
I feel like I'm dying every single night! I ran out of motrin last night and forgot to pick more up! The only way to describe it is feeling like I'm sick with fever, very tired, and every part of my body hurts! Even where I had a tooth pulled 3 years ago! Just constant body aches that I get every single night! As soon as I'm ready for bed it starts and get worse until I take a pain reliever! It's had been going on for about 2 years now like clock work every night! I can't take it any more! I've had blood work done, hormones checked you name it I've had it done! It's almost midnight and just sent my husband to the store bc I just can't get through the night without some motrin or advil. Which by the way I'm not supposed to take bc I have colitis! I'm desperate for help. Anyone , I'm begging you! Please help
Here's what I found:
Body temperature can change from a cool 95.5 f in the wee hours of the morning to 99.9 f in the late afternoon to evening. This diurnal curve is the mirror image of your normal corticosteroid levels which are highest in the am and lowest in the pm. This is quite normal and you were astute to recognize and learn about this.

Have you undergone any sugery
I too am in Same situation. From 6 months My temperature rises mostly in evening and some times on afternoon.
It all started when I got cold from my roommate.
I have had all sort of test but nothing significant was found.
Doctors even told me it in my head. I am now very frustrated with this.
I suspect tb..since it come mostly in evening and returns to normal at late evening and night
Just letting you know, that for me the correct answer was Sarcoidosis. After everything was tested from HIV to parasites, they took a full-body CT scan... which happily revealed sarcoidosis in the lungs instead of pulmonary lymphoma. That result was total surprise, as I never had any issues with lungs, shortness of breath, cough, flu or anything.
After getting diagnosis, the evening fevers stopped instantly with prednisolon that I took 40mg per day for 1 month and then it was gradually lowered so that now, after 2 years, I have been free of both cortisone and evening fevers for about 6 months.
