I had an hernia operation in 1994. Before that time I have not paid any attention to the size of my tescticles; however, currently I am noticing that my right testicle is a lot smaller than the left one. I am not 100% sure the cause is the hernia operation though.

My questions are:

- Could the smaller testicle can happen because of an hernia operation?
- Is my right testcile NOT working right now? How can I find out?
- Does this effect the fertility? Do I have to have the right testicle removed?

Thanks in advance for any input about the matter. My major concern is that whehter or not if this situation effects the fertitliy. I have had my sperm tested and everthing was fine. However, after trying to have a baby for 5 three years, and having my wife having 3 miscariges and 1 failed tube baby (I do not know the correct translation for this, tube baby is what we call it here - It is insamination is done outside then place in to the women) I am cruious if this has an effect on impregnaiton.
