How long does one need to wait before smoking after a tonsilectomy?. I know its a chance to totally quit smoking but nevertheless what time span are we talking about?
When you find out can u please tell me because i had mine taken out a week and a half and i really need a cig. and i dont know when i am able to smoke one the doctor did not really say..Please help me..!!
I would suggest waiting till they are healed due to the fact that it could cause irritation, which can mean more pain, and also it could cause infection as well....
Dont think that Im trying to put you off, and try to get you to quit cause Im a smoker as well, I know what your going through.....
I had mine removed when I was 6 and wasnt a smoker then so I cant really tell you how long you should wait, but this would be my suggestion...If though you cant wait that long, you could call your doctor and ask him/her.....

ya i got my toncels took out 2 days ago and i got my bro to take a bong hit and leave a little in the chamber so i could see if it would hurt and it got me really high and i barly took a hit , probly cause of all the t4s im on ahah but ya i wouldent recomend smokin pot till its healed but m probly still gunna smoke weed any way lol ;-)
