You have my story. But going to the doc again, no way, two times for me was enough. Looks like there is no permanent cure for this thing, and what works for others does not necessarily work for me. I will keep trying other remedies, someone recommended I try toothpaste, do not start laughing now because when I had athletes foot toothpaste (Colgate) got rid of it in less than two weeks after trying all kinds of gels and medication.
As I type this, my heart is throbbing in my left ear, but not for long, soon it will be beating where it belongs...somewhere in my chest.

A few months ago, I got a pimple inside my ear. At first it felt kind of sensitive and it looked very little. One day later, the pain was awful, seriously WOW! I couldn't sleep or eat. I waited a couple of days and the pain started to lower but the pimple was still there, I could see it (with a mirror). I was desperate because, even though the pain had been less, I still felt a lot of pressure. Since I'm a dentistry student I have sterile needles, so I grabbed one and hit the spot where I could see the pus (white stuff) below my skin. Just like that, it popped and the pressure was gone! I immediately cleaned my ear since it was full of pus (a loooot came out) and I left it heal by its own. I do know that it's not the healthiest way to go but I was really, really desperate. I think the key is: way for it to come to a head! (If you don't wait, you'll do more damage than there already is and it will hurt really bad) and if you pop it, try to get all the pus out. If you leave even a tiny amount of pus, it will come back again. IMPORTANT! If you popped your pimple by applying pressure, stop when blood or clear liquid (lymph) comes out.
I know it hurts like hell! :(

Sweetheart your doctor certainly won't think you're a hypochondriac. This type of thing is very common. I laugh a little reading your post because you continue to get these painful bumps in your ears over several months n months and you still haven't gone to see a doctor about them yet you think your doctor will think you're a hypochondriac? Do you know the definition of what a hypochondriac is? Lol You actually have some issue going on whatever it may be but it certainly is reacurring so there very well may be a bigger issue at hand & you definitely want to make an appt with a doctor to get some answers. And finally find out WHY it keeps coming back month after month, then the doctor can prevent it from happening most likely ever again. I promise your doctor won't think any less of you. He/she may question or wonder why you never came in & didn't come in sooner when your body is trying to tell you there might be some form of infection/ fungal infection or worse when something doesn't go away for that long of a time. Hope you make an appointment & get rid of those pesky painful ear bumps!! I know if I were you, I couldn't stand it! I have a super painful pimple in my ear n it feels as if I have an ear infection and slight fever Uuugh NOT fun! Peroxide has helped the pain a little bit. But I know if this kept happening for months and months and months I'd know something is DEFF wrong & how annoying that would be!! I'd definitely get to the doctor right away. Hope you finally do too!

Extremely painful blister like pimples in the ear that last for days. These sores sometimes release a yellowish liquid and bleed. A cause can be dehydration.

I to have a sore in my ear and it does hurt like hell. I went to the dr and he said to me,," you have a pimple in your ear and there's nothing I can do for you...the only think he recommends was a neosporin triple antibiotic ointment... it helps with pain and kills the germ. Eventually it will go away, in the meantime take ibuprofen as needed. Hope this helps

Hi, ithink i just popped a pimple far back in my ear and now the entire thing feels numb, what should i expect to happen?

I'm using prid ( a drawing salve) on mine and it actually helps easing the pain from the inflammation. As long as you have the prid salve on it, it will continue draw the pimple out, or any infection!
