Hello. I'm 24 year old female and I have some delicate questions about one issue. You see, about a month ago I first time felt this unpleasant vaginal soreness.
I thought it was nothing serious and didn’t pay too much attention on it. But the pain continued to bother me. One friend told me that it could be caused by some bacterial or yeast infection and so I contacted my gynecologist for evaluation.
After some papa smear test he determined that I didn’t develop any kind of infection. So, I'm a bit confused right now! What else could cause this vaginal irritation and soreness? If anyone knows more about this delicate problem- please inform me more!

Hello. I have just read your post and decided to help you because I know few facts about this and they are coming from my own experience.
You see, many things, beside all kind of infections, can cause bacterial soreness and first that is on my own my mind is vaginal dryness, mostly due to tampon use. This has caused me a lot of problems in the past. Try to use smaller tampons- it worked for me.
My vagina is also sometimes just generally achy for the first day I bleed, both inside my vagina and on outside part called vulva.
I didn’t learn to relieve this pain because you just have to get used on it. Beside this, you should know that vaginal soreness could be also caused with excessive masturbating. That’s about all I know. If your pain persist longer-contact you gynecologist for further evaluation.
