mill everyhing they say everything is fine and normal to just hit the gym more im
20 years young not fat at all but i was smoking weed ever sense that day this been going on for about 4 months.
I'm so glad I found this forum. I've had this fluttering without any pain but feeling like I need to catch my breath for years now. But recently, within the last couple of months, the fluttering or spasm has increased to many times a day. I've gone to the doctor but since it's hard to explain what's going on, the doctors seem clueless. The last EKG I've had was about 6 years ago and it came back normal. When the doctors listen to your heart and breathing, they say it's all normal. Just knowing there are others who relate to this eases some of the anxiety associated with it. I've bookmarked the pages and plan to show this to my doctor.
Thanks!
I too am so happy that I stumbled across this website, and especially this thread. To those of you who took time to give your advice on this matter - thanks so much! You have no idea how much this has helped me, and probably many many more.
My story looks a lot like the ones you have been telling. First time I experienced this, I actually thought it was the end for me. I could not walk 2 steps without the feeling of my heart jumping out of my body.
Went to the emergency room and they tested both my heart and lungs - big surprise, nothing wrong. Ever since I have been going to the doctors regularly, but they could not find anything wrong. It has been a couple of very hard months until I came across this very thread.
The last two weeks has been almost normal - because I now take magnesium as supplements.
I also take B6 vitamins and make sure to eat foods with high doses of natural magnesium and cut down on coffee and milk and instead increase intake of water.
This seems to be the cure for me (fingers crossed).
Again, to those of you who suggested this - thanks a million times!

I quit taking nexium as I read that taking it can hinder your body from absorbing calcium and magnesium.
One week ago I started taking magnesium ciltrate and centrum silver daily.
The first day my spasms swerve still there as normal
Day 2- slightly less spamming but not much of a noticeable improvement
Day 3 - obvious improvement but still spamming a couple of times a day
Day 4 and day 5 same as day 3
Day 6 - no spasming
Day 7 - no spasming
Day 7 and 9 the same
So I'm hoping this isn't just a placebo effect, but seems to have gone away. I'll keep posting my progress. Good luck you guys!
