5months into this and I'm still living by the philosophy that time heals all wounds. I'm not out of the woods yet but better than what I was. That's for sure The key as hard as it is, don't think about it That's when it returns. That being said I still think about it everyday. Hoping I can let it go eventually

Ya you would think so I last smoked marijuana in seventh grade I am now 30 years old and effects have never gone away I'm a constant state of dream. My reality is screwed and it has not eased up at times it bothers me more than others but I've learned to live with it not accept it. I have taken many anti depressants since this occurred and I feel the same. So any advice for me.

You'll be okay I promise you it happened to me and I'm fine now just change your lifestyle, think positive and write in your dairy, get all your thoughts out, that helped me a lot

how are you now? you fine? i had the same thing, i'd smoke hard and then after a month i'd feel awkward and anxious, then 2 weeks later i would be fine. once i was fine again i would start smoking again since i convinced myself it couldn't have been the weed, in reality it was, now im 2 months fully off it and loving life

im late to the party, but whatever.

it's been about a month since i quit, but i still feel like im high every once in a while.  the burning sensation in my eyes comes back, they're not dry, i even use drops to wet them and they still feel weird.

i honestly don't mind it.  i want to get high, but i can't since im looking for a job, so it's not a bad thing on my end, it is just weird.  sometimes i seriously feel like i had smoked hours earlier and im coming down.

the weirdest thing is that my body odor smells like weed, but i think because it is still in my system.  i smoked for over 5 years consistently.

once again, im not complaining.  i like it

yes it will trust me it just takes time to go away it happened to me 5 years ago and it does not come back anymore even if it does you will get used to it . whenever it comes back i say '' here we go again " . nothing is gonna happen to you . you are not going to lose your mind . just relax and don't try to explain the feeling just deal with it and try man up and encourage yourself from time to time . Good Luck

I smoked once a week when i was about 19-20 years old. I would feel like my soul was moving before the body. Like the movement were lagging a little behind. This lasted for months, and was really uncomfertable. It affected my piano playing, and i felt abit dumber. I am a worrier, and has depression and anxiety. I think this effects people with these kind of problems in their life. It took maybe 2-4 months before i was over it and i swore to never smoke again. As previous posters have said. The best way to get over this, is to think positive and relax. For me it is a loss, cause i had some really good times before it got bad. I guess this drug is not for everyone.
