My daughter can't eat much. When she does she feels so full. Just a little bit of food. Dr says her muscles need to relax in her stomach and gave her Librax for that. Is anybody famaliar with that? She needs help.
Hi! I'm not sure that I can help you out with why your daughter doesn't eat large amounts apart from the fact that kids can be really fussy (although you don't say what age your daughter). You also don't say what her BMI is and whether she's normal weight for her height and age. Often eating issues are anxiety driven and some relaxation techniques may help even if she is quite young.
However on a medication front I would question why the doctor has given her Librax? Librax is used for peptic ulcers (which I would doubt she has) IBS and gastritis, which is not what she's complaining of. The medicine also contains Chlordiazepoxide which is an anxiolytic medicine, part of the benzodiazepine group and it can be addictive. Go back to your doctor and ask to reassess. Good luck!
