Hello! My sister has been complaining about having stomachaches for the last two weeks. It all started before her period, so she didn’t pay much attention to it as this is supposed to be normal and she only took some pain killers. However, the stomachaches didn’t stop after her period. She hasn’t been to school for three days now as she is only lying in her bed with her legs bend. She explains that the stomachaches are pretty close to cramps. What should we do? Call a doctor?
Hi there! I suppose it would be best if you took her to hospital for an observation. It is quite possible that there is an underlying problem of her stomachaches that won’t subside. There are a couple of conditions I can think of to have caused the pain but it could be only-doctor-knows what!!!! I thought of diarrhea, constipation, digestive infection, viral infection, irritable bowel syndrome, lactose intolerance or food poisoning.
