I have had a linquinal hernia repair on my right side 6 months ago and have been having similar issues on my right side for about 3 months. It is definately a hernia, but my problem is could they have misdiagnosed me the first go round? I have spent a fortune trying to have doctors figure it out. The gastro doctor said that everything is fine after getting a colonoscopy, upper gi. He said I just need more fiber, so I have been taking 2 fiber pills twice a day and it is not helping. I have very sharp pains at times, mostly after eating dinner and most of the time just very uncomfortable pain. Is it possible that the doctors could have missed something? I just cannot believe that after having the first hernia surgery and going thru all the tests, that they could not find anything wrong, and now I definately have another hernia! It is just aggravating. My first hernia doctor told me that we need to fix the hernia before we can find out what is causing all this gas to just build up and cause the stomach walls to expand, thereby creating a hernia. Well thety didnt find anything and now I have the same problem. There IS something wrong because if I have this hernia repaired, it is just going to cause another problem 3 months from now again. My stomach gassy pains are getting worse and I truly feel that all that gas has no where to go or cannot get out so it pushes on the stomach lining to the extreme of blowing a gasket (hernia). Anyone have any info on this symptom, please let me know. I have no idea what to do next!
Well It is most likely regular stomache pains but just in case I would go see a doctor
