I'm only 14 and experienced black discharge for the first time in early july, I've never had sex and am not on any birth control pills, this occured for the first time about three weeks before my period. I'm pretty scared, is it possible to get hpv before you ever have sex?

I've had a regular period nearly 2 weeks ago, and the seemingly regular bleeding of it lasted for about 5 days, however, afterwards I realized that I was still bleeding, but that it was this brown blood.
Sometimes it would come out in odd little lumps, and sometimes that would be red blood in it.
This wont stop, I am concerned, especially considering that I think I may be getting some form of UTI from it...any help or advice would be most welcome.

My periods come when they are supposed to, but about 3 months ago I had it last for 8 days straight. BUT it only lasted so long because I had this bloody discharge. I've been getting brown like discharge though for the past month... & tonight when I went to the bathroom & wiped, some black discharge was on the tp. I thought it was something that got stuck to the tp before I wiped... so I got a new piece & wiped again. Well more black mucus looking discharge came out. I'm scared & have also been suffering from nausea off & on, mostly on, for the past 3 weeks. Does anybody know possibly what this could be from? I'm extremely scared & worried. I just recently switched bc from Ocella to Femcon, but this has been happening since before I switch... what could be the problem? HELP me please... I'm really scared.

It could be an ovairian cyst bursting, or maybe endometriosis. Endometriosis causes very painful cramps and is only diognosed with a laperoscopy. Cysts can be detected by an ultrasound. Either way See your doctor or Gyno

It has to do with an imbalance of hormones in the body. I was prescribed birth control to help, but it doesn't cure it. The black discharge is just a part of your body cleaning itself out and you may possibly have PCOS. Always ask a doctor though.

Last year i was in a relationship with someone i thought was clean, but later i found out he had warts. my doctor checked me out, but said i was ok, but just tonight i had black discharge, so i looked it up on web MD and it said it was a symptom of genital warts....
i'm scared because i'm in another sexual relationship and i don't want to infect my boyfriend...
i'm going to my doctor soon for a flu shot and a check-up....
i hope all the tests come back clean....
if not, what should i do?

you could have whats called anovulatory periods. i have the samething.

i also have been getting the blackish discharge, i am 15, on the pill and i am sexually active, i last had sex about a week and with a condom and about a mont before i had sex without a condom, he hadnt had sex with anyone before so i dont think it is any STD's, i have been getting for a few days now and i have been feeling very sick and found it hard to eat for a few days, i really doubt i am pregnant but i would just like some advice about what it could be as i am a bit worried

I am 19 and i have been bleeding out dark blood and what seems to be black blood from my vagina. I am on birth control and i missed two days then started a period. It started out normal then turned into this strange black stuff. It does not itch or smell but it has been going on for 3 weeks! shortly before this I was in a major car accident with a herniated disk in my spine and I have been having problems with everything from the waist down, i do not know if this is related to my accident or not. I am getting rather freaked out and the only health insurance i have is PIP related only to my accident so i cant go specifically to get this looked at yet. I was wondering if anyone has any ideal what this is, also it is very heave discharge like a period in its flow, i have to use tampons and pads for it from time to time. help?
i've experianced the same thing a few times now and my periods are all over the place (not literally of course) but i find it extremly hard to guess when they will start and a couple of days after this black looking discharge my period comes so maybe it has something to do with that? ?
omg whats scary is most of you ladies did no go to a dr and get checked out wtf is wrong with you? if you elive there is a problem get it checked out, dont just stand around and look dumb and think it will just go away on its own.... a black discharge is anything but normal, usually means old blood, or decaying tissue.... either one is serious enough to get checked out by a dr. this may be a q&a forum but omg go to the dr and ask him the same question you will get a moe accurate answer to your problem....
i had my period on the 19 of last month and a few days ago i started getting this blackish brown discharge and i was wondering if this is something i should be worrying about. i havent had sex at all recently and the last time i did anything with my boyfriend was when he fingered me after masturbating, he had a little pre cum on his fingers but he washed them with laundry soap and water twice before he did anything with me...i dont think it is possible cause i have had my period twice since then, but could i be pregnant or something, or is it just old blood??? your advice is really helpfull
i know what you mean i went through the same EXACT thing with my bf and now am going through exactly the same thing as you but i have also had at least two cases where my stomach started hurting like i had really bad cramps...both times i could barely stand up straight...what is happening to me???
