I had my ablation in 2011, my periods came back two years later. They were basically just spotting for a couple years, but now they're pretty normal and come like clockwork.

That response was beautiful. I have Von Willibrans disease a heavy bleeding disorder. I have 5 beautiful children with my Ex Husband. We divorced after 20 years married. I had my tubes tied and in 2015 Nova Sure. My periods have not stopped but are much lighter. I of all people know the risks, as I almost bled out with two of my five children. The reason for my choice to tie and burn. I am with someone new and want very much to have another child! Badly. I think that I may have to find a surrogate though. The risks are insane for me. I would try it, as crazy as it sounds if I were able to untie my tubes but I cannot. IVF is expensive and God forbid I lost the baby or my own life.

I am interested in asking, if it is at all possible for me to get pregnant again, after 20 years of having a tubal ligation done, & then 8 years ago in 2008 have novasure procedure done. I am 44 yrs old, & I just had my first period after 8 years only lasted 3 days, but, it is & was very light, however the bloating I could without. So with that said, my fiance & I want a baby, & I'm not sure if I can have one. Do you think it is possible now that I have started my period again, even though I have had a TL done?

I read your post and was wondering if you could give me some information on what site you went to about ablation and what helped you get pregnant. I had an ablation and tubes tied in 2012, since then no periods but cramping. If you had any info on how to help get pregnant please send me

I would say yes. I am a member of a group for women trying to TCC after endometrial ablation and there are a many women who have gotten pregnant after having an EA. Some had a hysteroscopy in order to remove the scar tissue blocking the uterus and/or tubes caused by the EA and some had a tubal reversal in order to get pregnant.

I am 40 and had a novasure 6 years ago and have not had a period since, so I am happy to hear your period did infact return after so many years.

I had procedure done maybe 6-8 months ago I was with a guy for 10 yrs thought we were good with kids I had my three boys. After the procedure I completely stopped my periods. Now I'm with a new guy and he wants kids I wouldn't mind but how am I supposed to tell if I don't get periods? I understood the risks but didn't think I would have to worry until now!!!
