9 yrs ago I had my tubes tied after my second child was born then 2 yrs ago I had an Endometrial Ablation and never had another period. About 3 mo. After the procedure I left my husband and have since fallen in love with a wonderful man and found my self wishing I could get pregnant, here lately my body has been changing, I've been breaking out, having to go to the bathroom a lot, having cravings, then I noticed my belly looked a bit big so I decided to take pregnancy test and sure enough POSITIVE....+. .. I am excited but very worried I want to have this baby. If anyone has any helpful information for me that would be greatly appreciated!

FreaKing out!! I had the novasure ablation in September 2011. No period since then. I had one episode of bleeding in Feb 2014, one day of spotting in March and then a light period lasting 4 days in April of this year. I assume my period is trying to restart. I'm now concerned about getting pregnant. I realize the odds are stacked against me but am curious as if anyone else had a similar course of events.

Yes! I am currently 16wks pregnant & doing great! I am high risk & it is scary but it's been totally worth it :) My doctor had zero experience with pregnancy post ablation so I did a lot of research on my own & had to really fight for this baby. Since my history of ablation no one really wanted to treat this pregnancy like a normal pregnancy & any issues were just brushed aside. I was blessed to have found a another post ablation mom online & got a lot of encouragement & advice. Are you having regular periods?

How did you get pregnant? I had the novasure procedure in 2007 and I've been told by my doctor that my lining is normal again and I have periods. They are light sometimes and a lil heavy but not bad other months. I want to have another baby but trying to find out how and what would be the best way to conceive. If any one could give me any guidance on how me and my husband can conceive I would be forever greatfull. Thank you

Thank you for your post... I was also persuaded to have the Nova Sure procedure done, years ago. I feel in my heart that we took away our openness to life. At the time we were not living our faith, and have since come to see the beauty of the teachings of the Church, and my heart is really being tugged to have my husbands vasectomy reversed and start practicing NFP.
I was confused by your post, did you have another baby?
