Your going to get pneumonia, go get chest xrays, although when the chest infection kicks in, you will probably need them again. Antibiotics kill the infection once it gets going. Can't explain why quitting causes this to happen. I picture a an open wound that is now trying to heal, and sometimes it will cause an infection . trust me. You've damaged your lungs.

15 yrs smoking i quit jan 6

upper back pain burning pain
(shoulder blade(LEFT and right,mid(spinal),
mild chest pain ( sharp)
mild headache

my x-ray and cbc is normal
no cough ,

Omg dude thank the gods for your reply!!! Listen.... same thing here same description!! Upper left back, close to the spine , feels like a knot, but sometimes you can feel it in your arm it seems right? Dude i thought I had cancer lol but m no longer afraid thank you.
