My Story From Withdrawal

May 15, 2017 I feel mild discomfort and chest pain and thinking it was caused by cigarette so I decide that I quit by reducing my stick per day and that didn't happen eventually I jump from 15 sticks to 2 sticks a day. I believe that was too fast.
May 23, 2017 I notice my back is on pain, its like a burning sensation between my shoulder blade. I google it and found out that it might be related to heart attack that time I was so anxious keep thinking that I might have clog arteries or I might die today etc.
May 24, 2017 around 11:00 PM the pain on my back got so severe and I can't handle it anymore. I told my father whats happening to me, He rushed me to ER. Doctor did ECG, BP and check my pulse everything is normal. Doctor said it must be Acid Reflux by the way that time I notice that its kinda hard to swallow even water it feels like everything that goes in my throat is so slow to get down to my stomach. Doctor prescribe me antacid and a muscle relaxant which doesn't ease the pain on my back. that morning I decide to quit cold turkey.
May 25, 2017 I Started my medication for 1 week. few days later stomach problem begins. I have Stomach Pain, Gas every morning and night, Non stop Burping, mild Diarrhea. I'm thinking that day could be my quitting in smoking trigger the acid reflux? If you have any idea about it I will gladly to listen :)
May 26, 2017 Back pain is still present and add the Headache. btw I did notice something new my taste had a metallic taste and excessive saliva in my mouth.
May 29, 2017 I think I'm going crazy starting this day every other day I feel new symptoms and the other will subside like my Headache, Fatigue it come on and off, and because of that many symptoms my anxiety level is on the roof. Anger and always irritated for no reasons. I google a lot which is not good and I read about nicotine withdrawal and finally now I know whats happening to me. Back pain always present.
June 10, 2017 I'm still suffering from my withdrawals some symptoms is gone now. but what really annoys me is the stomach problem. and chest pain always make me anxious. this day I started to drink Apple Cider Vinegar and Digestive Enzymes to help my digestion. after taking it Notice the burning sensation in my back is easing.
List of my symptoms:
Itchy Eyes
Fatigue
Craving for cigarettes
Headache
Nausea
Salivation
Smell Sensitive
Chest Pain
Tightness in the Chest
Short Breath for few minutes
Random Pain - Arm, Upper Arm, Shoulder, Leg, feet, neck, hand, wrist
Sore Throat
Brain Fog
Anxiety
Irritability
Depression
Hot Flashes
Insomnia
Hand and Feet Sweating
July 2 , 2017 (38 DAYS EX-SMOKER) some of my symptoms only last for 72 hours and other is mild other is severe. I Still suffer from stomach problems and chest pain and sooner or later I believe they will subside also like the others. What I experience from my journey of quitting smoking will be my motivation and continue my life as a non smoker and I will never gonna put that cancer sticks in my mouth ever again.

Btw Im having a chest pain now started 2 days ago. Anyone here know how long does it last?

I am 2 months ahead of you & still experiencing it. I've had 2 chest X-rays, 3 dr's "lungs are clear", insisted on pulmonoligist & Cardiologist. Waiting to see them now. These are the things that have helped, no sugar, all organic, lots of water, breathing exercises, exercising, Zirtec bc any allergin makes it feel worse. Long story but trust me on this. I have an inhaler that also helps. Keep your home OCD clean, free of dust. I'm sure everyone's different but the Musinex was a bad idea for me. ICE pack for 20 minutes has been extremely useful. Seriously try it. Which has led me to more research & I have decided to see an acupuncturist this week too. The anxiety is really tough so I run it out when it starts. It's lessened slowly over the months. I take a lot of vitamins, as well as ACV tablets and I can tell a difference. I have passed the fatigue, insomnia, feeling sick, hot flashes, dizzy, sweating, tightness in the chest, shortness of breath, just down to some heart "flutters" & the random lung pain & it moves all over the place. I feel like this is the cilia growing back, moving toxins out of my lungs, I suspect I have some inflammation in my chest walls which is also contributing to the pain. Hopefully my referrals are in this week (You have to demand to see specialist, or at least I did & FYI you have to tell them shortness of breath to get the referral. My dr. lead me to that w/ a wink.) Good luck, keep me posted on how you're doing. ✌️

Smoking coats your nerves so you dont feel the damage it does. When you quit you heal and feel what smoking has done.
