I am experiencing the same, tingling and burning sensation in the back of my head. It freaks me out. Did you find out what could that be ?

I have just started with this 3 days ago. I'm 37 and have never had this problem before. It started with headaches above the right eye and then went to the left side as well. I went to the GP today and he gave me Nuerofen and said let's see how that goes. Did a blood pressure and that was normal. Mostly the headaches have gone but the tingling is still there all over the head but mostly at the back bottom right and top of the scalp.

Like others have said i spend FAR to much time on the PC. Wether it be at home or work i am on the damn thing 1/2 the day at least. I have been slacking off on the daily walks which may have contributed and i am epic stressed at work, more so than ever before.

Also as well, i have had a personal spiritual awakening the past 2-3 weeks. I've asked God several times to help me learn and to open my eyes and show me what he wants from me. Maybe this is his way of saying, i am listening.

But i believe God helps those that help themselves, if it continues for another day or two i am going back in and demanding a full blood test and scan.

It is Caffiene withdrawal. Drink more water and less coffee

me to bro I'm 15 also I have the same problem. I didn't think I was sensing god or ghosts or anything like that but I know what caused it and I'm glad it's not life threatening.

I'm not the person that wrote that but I am on the same page. I started meditating a lot in the past year and after activating my chakras, I started getting the tingling sensation as well. It started with my crown tingling but now I get tingles in the back of my head. Usually specifically on either the left or right side. I've noticed if I say something mean or do something not nice I will get a tingle on my right side (left brain) while if I do something truly nice it's on the left. It doesn't happen every time. I still get the crown tingles once in a while as well. I assume I'm being uploaded with some info from my peoples haha. Anyway, hope this helped a little bit.

I'm about to turn 18.
I get this tingling feeling on the top right of my head. I always thought that it was my head falling asleep. Then I wonder why just that spot? Is it just 'falling asleep?"

I am a 21 year old female and am having the same problem. I have never had any pain, dizziness, or bruising. My symptoms are exactly as described in the first post. It is simply a tingling sensation in a dime sized area of the back right part of my scalp. I had the same problem a few months ago where my scalp would tingle or itch periodically throughout the day in this same spot. It persisted for a few days and then it went away. The tingling just came back today and I'm not sure why. I do use the computer a lot for college and work. I am often very stressed and often get headaches from lack of sleep, so this may be a contributing factor. However, I would really like to have a confirmed medical reason for why this happens. I'd love to know if anyone received a more specific diagnosis.

Its probably caused by a pinched nerve or stress like the software engineer explained. I just started an assembly job and I have been a hit mentally stressed but mostly physically stressed so don't freak out. Go to a doctor or keep researching.

Sounds like it's also giving you anxiety.

If it is not painful, it's feedback from your Higher Self, which is at the deepest part of your consciousness. Sounds crazy but it's true! It is triggering nerve feedback when you observe positive intrinsic human qualities. Don't worry, it's a good thing :)

Spend time analyzing what causes it, and write it down. It may provide a good lesson or two.

I have the same issues and I really think it's pinched or pressured nerves. I have sciatica in my left hip and the fellings in my head are similar. I've been trying yoga and I have found some relief. I do know that activities that cause me annoyance include reading, and t.v. Especially activities that cause me to hold my neck in one position. There are some good neck stretches my chiropractor recommended. Try to take breaks to move your neck periodically when you're experiencing the tingling, it helps.

Go see a MD immediately. I am shocked by how many people look to the Internet for answers to serious health issues. Go get a complete physical examination and consult a "Specialist," if necessary (such as, a Neurologist).
