a little hard bump in a vein which goes horizontally across the underside of my penis....the vein is a little swallon.........doesn't hurt and is not discolored or anything just wondering if someone can help me out ..thx
It is hard to say anything without seeing because it is normal for vein on penis shaft to be prominent. They are even more noticeable when we have an erection because more blood goes through them during an erection and they may swell and bulge.
I suppose you are suspecting thrombosis of the penis. It could be. The main symptom of the penile thrombosis is a “cord-like thickening of the superficial veins” and it may be both painless and painful. The thickening is usually noticed after a prolonged sexual intercourse
Thrombus can be treated with drugs and the resolution occurs between 4 and 6 weeks.
It doesn’t necessarily mean you have developed a thrombus, but you may have it checked to be on the safe side.
