I'm not a male but probably some ice. Dont put just straight ice on it. Get a rag and and run it under some hot water and then put ice in it. They may help with the swelling and some advil or tylenol will def. help!!!!!

It happened to me too. I was masturbating, and had to pee. I just kept the urine inside me, because it somehow made it fell better. It caused pain and afterwards (next morning), I found my penis to be swelled and curved to the left. Can anyone diagnose this please?

i jerked off for an extended period of time last night and soon after noticed my testicles were swollen....an hour later my penis started to swell as well...its not painful but im starting to get worried...any advice other than go see a doctor?

Hey, swelling after extended whackimg off Is normal, relax people you'll b fine. I've actually taken it the next level and used the extra girth while my penis was swelled up around the shaft and gave it the wife extra hard... So even if u continue to beat your penis like it owes you money or have sex after the swelling it just remains swollen and takes longer to go down. If u want a quick solution get an anti inflamotory and apply or take the pill... Also, I've found in the past a cold cloth around the shaft usually helps with the swelling to subside a bit quicker. But my advice, if u have a girlfriend/boyfriend, use the extra girth and show them who's boss... Lol...

Sincerely,

the dirty bird extra swollen girth Canadian boy!

Good to see some posts on this. I am in my 30s and had never experienced this in 20 years of jacking lol. Now I find that a couple of hours after jacking, the ring around the base of my glans swells up and my penis looks mis-shapen. This lasts for 24 hrs though before subsiding. Not sure whether I am inadvertently jelqing whilst jacking, or whether my grip is just too tight. I usually edge for 3 - 5 hrs though which may make this worse?

ive had this problem for a while this post helped quite a bit n 2+ hours isnt much to be worried about it just takes longer to go down the more strain is on it.

I just wanted to throw in my two cents here in case someone else comes across these posts, due to the same situation, and is needing to put their mind at ease. So I'm going to answer some of the questions above in one post.

Q: Is this normal?
A: This tends to be most common in guys that are uncircumcised, and this is due to the foreskin, and you will most likely notice that only the skin itself tends to be swollen. Yes, it can/will be very swollen in some instances. If this has never happened to you, or happened only a few times before, think about your last masturbation either that day or the day before. It will generally happen, either following a session where you are a bit rougher than normal, or a session that lasted a bit longer than 'usual'. This also tends to be more common place in uncircumcised guys, because again due to the foreskin, they are less likely to use any type of lubricant. Because the skin moves more freely over an uncircumcised penis, this is why you will see only skin swollen and not the head if you pull the foreskin back. So, in short, YES, this is normal if it has happened either once or maybe a few times at most. If this is a recurring item, then you should go to the doc, don't worry about it if it's not a 'normal' thing for you. Oh, and if welling lasts for more than a few days, 2-4days, then go see a doc in that case as well; but it more than likely won't.

Q: How can I help the swelling go down quicker?
A: Anti-Inflammatories, such as Ibuprofen/Tylenol/etc. are your best bet. I recommend Ibuprofen the most because in my opinion it's the best anti-inflammatory and is most recommended for tissue swelling by doctors. However, if you're a teenager you may have to make due with what's in the medicin cabinet. In which case tylenol "acetaminophen" is just as good. Pretty much any over the counter medication for headaches will be made of one of these two products, except for Aleve, which is Naporxen, but that will work as well. As someone posted earlier, you can ice the region, but ummm, good luck to you if you can do that. I think it would just make you more uncomfortable placing ice on your junk for a long period. Oh, and one last trick, if you happen to have hemmaroid cream lying in your medicine cabinet, that would a lot as well with the swelling, probably be faster than just the anti-inflammatory alone. CAUTION!!!!: Only place the hemerroid creme on the shaft of the penis, or on the outer skin if uncircumcised, as to avoid any further problems the next day or two.

Q: How much Ibuprofen should I take?
A: Most ibuprofen comes in 200mg tablets, take approximately 800mg of ibuprofen, every 4 hours until swelling goes down. Tylenol is measured a bit different, usually 500mg to 1500mg, take 2 tylenol every 4 hours if using that.

Q: How long can I expect it to be swollen?
A: You can expect the swelling to last, anywhere from 1hour to 48hours in some cases. Do NOT be alarmed, if it's been 24 hours and it's still swollen a bit. But, after 48 hours [2 days], if the swelling has not gone down at all, then you will want to consult the physician. If you make sure to use an anti-inflammatory as mentioned above, swelling will subside much faster.

Q: Do I need to see my physician?
A: I know I already answered this above, but I just wanted to reiterate you do NOT have to see your physician if swelling subsides within 48hours. If it does not go down after 2 days, then contact your physician. But, if you have not seen swelling go down after 48hours, and you call your physician, make them consult you on the phone or let you go to their office at the latest the day after you call them, but preferrably the same day you call them, you don't want to put it off any longer than that because they said they didn't have a time slot available for you.
