My tongue feels very swollen and it's interfering with my swallowing. I'm having issues eating and drinking, and can scarcely talk. The swelling started around 9pm last night, and I was actually afraid to go to bed.
My throat has been sore and I've been having sinus infection symptoms for a few days now. Yesterday, it felt like it moved to my chest, so I switched from Sudafed to Mucinex and a Benadryl to fight the constant sneezing. I'm a bit concerned, but with Military, I have to call ahead and make an appointment and wait for it to be available.
My temp is varying between 97.8 and 98.0 and I'm constantly dizzy. I was thinking about getting some popsicles, as the cold might drop the swelling down, but I'm not sure, because I generally try and treat the problem, not the symptom.
The swelling almost feels like I'm severely dehydrated, but I've been forcing myself to drink fluids and urine color is good. Is this really bad enough to go to the ER?
