I am not fat, but maybe 20lbs over weight. My upper abdomen seems to be hyper extending. I eat well, drink somewhat but in okay shape. This is prevelant for the last two years and seems to be getting worse.

You would not believe how many conditions could be causing swelling in the abdomen. Have you seen a doctor about it? You should have considering it’s been there for two years now.
Does your swelling look like a mass under the skin or more like bloating? You need to be screened and need to have a physical exam in order to determine what the bulge could be.
If it were a mass-like, then it could represent hernia, a tumor, an amebic liver abscess, etc. There are a lot of other possible causes and I would mention just a few: constipation, lactose intolerance, IBS, gallbladder disease, peptic ulcers, etc
There is a wide range of possibilities, and you should really get evaluated.
