this happened to me and im worried my boyfriend and i had some forplay...and the fingering usually doesnt hurt. he put four fingers in and it never really bothers me. i did notice that i was very dry and it started to hurt. then after we began intercourse and it hurt so bad i made sounds and i never really make sounds. afterwards i wanted to curl up into a ball. i couldve started crying it hurt so bad. my inner labia is seriously swollen and hurts to the touch and too pee. i mean my vag is shaved and has been itchy recently but i didnt think that would be part of the problem. i DONT want sex to be not fun anymore. im taking advice from many ppl on this website and i hope it works.

i am very surprised that this many people have the same problem. i've been dealing with this for over a year now ever since my bf did 3 fingers with me and i haven't been able to ask my doctor because for one i would feel uncomfortable and two i do not want my mom to know.

so does anyone actually have an answer for it?

Neither of those problems you should worry aout, becuase one, if you think about it the doctors see things like that every day, it is their job and if you get a woman she will probably have some helpfull advice, doctors are not going to judge you, they just want to make you better, so dont worry about it. And two, your mum doesn't need to know, because you can ring up your local dctors and book an appoitment by yourself, so on the way to school ring up, book it for after school college or whenever, then on that day go to the doctors, and tell your mum your going to afriends house, simple?

My fiance and I had sex and the outside and inside of my vagina are swollen almost completely shut. It hurts to sit down or walk and burns when I use the bathroom. The sex wasnt for hours, it wasnt rough and there was plenty of lubricant used. So its not from irritation. This has never happened before and I am worried. Can someone give me some advice on what it might be...

This has happened to me too. I've been tested for chlamydia and i know my boyfriend doesn't have it. It really hurts to walk and go to the bathroom. I also bled a little bit the second time but i hadn't started my period. We don't use lubricant but to be honest i dont really need it. We've had the same kind of sex before and ive been fine. It's only started recently and i'm really worried.

I've been experiencing swelling after sex on numerous occasions. Sometimes it lasts a few minutes after and other times it can be sore til the next day. What I've generally noticed is that before swelling, the sex is painful. In order to reduce the swelling after sex, stop having sex when it becomes painful. Through my experiences, the sweling is due to several things 1)not enough lubrication during sex 2)yeast infection that may not be apparent until the swelling appears 3)urinary tract infection. The most common thing for me that causes the swelling is a yeast infection, although it's sometimes difficult to figure out what's causing it. Swelling after sex is something that's important to take care of as soon as possible because if you continue to swell it could lead to problems with your sex life and affect your relationship with your partner because you'll stop enjoying sex. For me and my boyfriend it's been hard only because we need more of a physical closeness but cant get that whenever I get swollen. So I sayt from experience, fix it fast.

Hi, well i been noticing that when im have intercourse with my husband it hurts. And when we are done i see that my labia minora is really swollen and it's really red and i can't even go pee after im done it burns really bad... what's goin on with me???

 i have the same problem usualy when u have an orgasim while having sex & you keep having sex after you have the orgasim ur clit swells up from it being rubbed when ur having an orgasim

Recently after having sex, not even for a long time and it didn't seem to be that bad without lube, my vagina has become very swollen. Ive been having sex since i was 17 and it has never been like this. I went to sleep last night with it very swollen and it is still swollen after 7 hours. This has never happened before and it is not comfortable. the sex wasn't painful so "m getting worried.

Im 16 and after fooling around with my boyfriend i found my labia swells and it can get quite sore but this only happens when i've climaxed multiple times. for me the best thing is to go to sleep then in the morning go for a pee and it shrinks dramatically in size, throughout the day whenever i pee it shrinks a little more and gets less painful so by that night im back to normal :)

I had to see my gynecologist for painful intercourse because it hurt so bad I would cry. I found out I had a urinary tract infection. I also have ovarian cysts which sometimes cause intercourse to be painful. My doc did a full panel of screening and it all came back negative or STD's. If it continues to be painful, I would suggest seeing a dr.

I think this woman knows her body a bit better than you, sir. But hey, it was worth a shot. Next time, stay off the lady sexual health walls and please don't try to "explain to" us "girls" what it is our genitals are doing.
