Hello, I need some info about my husband’s health condition. He has been diagnosed with intestinal tumor and the surgery has been scheduled for the next week. There is also a problem with his asthma attacks and I would like to know if it is dangerous taking Gleevec and anti – asthma drugs in the same time?
I suppose that his doctor already knows about the asthma condition and that he approved using those two meds in the same time. As for Gleevec I know that he has major interactions with Phenobarbital, Phenytoin, Dexamethasone and that it also shows some reactions with antifungals, Simvastatin, Imatinib etc. These meds should really be avoided, anything else should not pose any threat.
