My husband has been suffering from testicular tension since march this year. The testicles almost completly retract into his body and go absolutely solid. Sometimes when they relax they move almost like they're breathing (I cant think of any other way of describing it). He said the pain is bad in the morning and eases up in the evening. He had an ultrasound that showed he had a varicocele. They attempted a varicocele embolization but it was unsuccessful. He has been prescribed 3 rounds of antibiotics to no effect and he has now been given amitriptyline as they now say he had an infection which has caused nerve damage. (apologies for this long spiel!)

He is now suffering hot flashes, aches, testicular pain and sickness. However we still unsure whether the varicocele is really the cause behind all this and we're no closer to getting any help. Has anyone else had any experience with varicocele or suffered any similiar symptoms?
