I have been running for a long time. I maintained my body weight pretty much the same over the years. However, I noticed that I started to lose weigh rapidly. I was eating normally but my pounds kept falling off. I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem. What do you think about thyroid problems and running?
Thyroid is one of the most important glands in our body. Having problem with it is a serious matter. You shouldn’t underestimate it. I suggest you back off with the running for a while until you get your problem under control. You should check with your doctor and see what he is recommending about that. My advice is; don’t push too much at this stage.
Hi haydon, did you find out any info on thyroid problems? If you don't mind, what was/is your condition?
