Hello, I am 28yr female, 123lbs, 5.5ft, and I have been having tingling in legs and a little in one arm for about 5 weeks, last night I started having this spot on my face that felt numb, I could feel there when I touchit, but almost like anestetic wearing off? The tingles in my legs are not painful and they never go completely numb, just feel like little tingles when I am sitting or lying down. I have no pain at all and no visual changes. My brother has MS and father diabetes, but my fam doc does not think its either. I have an apt with a neuologist for an EMG in a week and he did do blood work.
The only other thing is, but I don't think is related is that I had a Breast Augmentation done about 10 days before the tingles began? Any suggestions on what's going???

Another option is to also ask to be sleep tested. Sleep apnea can also cause the tingling/numbness you are describing. I experienced these same things and was misdiagnosed for many years. It is only when it reached very acute stages that the doctor finally started to recognize that it could be an option. Are you fatigued at all? Do you snore? (Tho snoring is not always a sign or symptom as people sometimes believe). In the later staged, I also experienced skin tenderness. Where my skin felt sore when touched. This I found out was common. Do you suffer from allergies/sinus issues. Sometimes these things can interfere with your oxygen levels. A simple oxygen meter test can be a good start. I hope this helps.
