I am 46 yrs. old and had my tonsils out July 21st and today is Aug. 23rd I would like to know from anyone how long the tastebuds are off and will I ever be able to swallow food again without a water chaser? I am so frustrated and just need some positive input, has anyone else had these problems a month later? Please let me know that I am not alone?
Hi Lisa! It's unfortunate that your'e still having problems a month out and I'd actually say that means that you're not recovering totally normally. By this point, most people are able to swallow normally so I would recommend talking to a doctor about this. That is very unusual. Can you let me know how it turns out?
