Do you think training with weighed bottle is efficient? I’m a student and I don’t have too much money so buying professional set of weights is out of the question. A friend of mine told me that I can solve that problem if I take two plastic bottles of the same capacity and fill them with sand. Do you think that this can fully substitute weights?
I suppose that it can. Those guys who professionally train weight lifting would probably object to it and they could find numerous shortcomings of this kind of training, but I think that since you’re only doing it as a recreation, it will be fine. I’ve also practiced that when I was younger and when my parents didn’t want to buy me professional equipment so I had to find a way to exercise. I just don’t know whether you should fill them with sand or with something else. Maybe there is something better to put in those bottles. I don’t know how much professional equipment costs but I guess that it’s not too expensive any more, so you can also check it out.
