Hi my name is Anna, I just went to Dr. Perez on April 13th I had my tubal reversal, it's been 2 weeks. I am feeling great, recovering quickly, tomorrow I go back to work.
I am replying to this post because I find it to be very ignorant advice. The town is not right across the border, it's clean and pretty, my husband and I walked 4 blocks from the hospital the first day we got there and it was really nice. Nothing happened. I was nervous about going there myself, but I heard so many good things about Dr. Perez on other Dr's from over here sites. So I found his website and joined the forum there and after getting to know so many women around the country that had nothing but good things to say about them, I decided to go there. I am very glad that I did, the hospital was great! It was so clean, the staff was awesome, the Dr.'s were very professional and kept us totally informed. Plus, the food was delicious, I can go on. One other important thing is that they offer a shuttle service from McAllen, Tx. and Harlington, Tx., to and from, so we flew there and they were waiting for us. TOP NOTCH!
By the way, I am definitely not a staff of theirs. I live in Louisiana.

Thanks y'all. Unfortunatally I didn't go. I regret it now but I still can I lost a travel partner to go and my spouse is unable to leave from work.which he does 7 days a week.i think I'm going to wait until plane tickets are cheap and then try at it again...I am from Louisiana also do the post really makes me feel better thanks.

I disagree wih you I go and come to Rio Bravo. Thank God nothing has happened to me. I have heard excellent comments on these doctors. I plan to have my surgry done in december 2012.
I live in a bordering US/Mexico city Im in the same situation had my tubes cut tied and burned and have now met a wonderful man with no kids of his own but would like at least one But the funds at just not there. I suggest you spend the extra cash and get it done here in the US!! I found this website!

In New Branfels there is an awsome Dr. there is reasonably priced I had a reversal from there and conceived three months later.
Mckenna Hospital is all I remember .

i was 22 when i gotten mines done and know i want another baby my husband and i,i too want to goto this Dr.Perez,my tubes are cut,burned,and cliped and i had previous c-sections with both my other kids,do someone have any pictures of their visit or the buliding or anything?
I had a tubal ligation done almost 4 years ago. I met a new man recently and we're getting married in a few months. He knows my tubes have clips on them. I've been researching so many places to get a reversal. I see places near me that want to charge $8500...then I read about a dr in mx that can do it for less than 3K. It's a tempting idea. I just want to make sure it's legit because I have to send money over first as a deposit... I've been to mx once on a mission trip - san louis potosi, but I don't know the country very well. Right now I'm waiting for my acct to be approved on Dr Perez website so I can talk in the patient forums. I'm not trying to judge or anything but I have had other people try to scam me before. I can only imagine the scammers that may be out there for tubal reversals. I'd imagine someone would hear of a woman wanting a baby and know we're feeling desperate.

Dr Perez from Mx is listed there - you have to scroll down for the tubal reversals. Also a dr from new braunfels. Thank you ladies so much. Of course I need to do more research but this gives me more hope. Dr Perez is under $3K...the dr from new braunfels tx is $5200 - i just want to know if they use a machine or stints or dis-solvable stitches etc. I read something somewhere about not letting them use a stint...extra damage or something...anyway...there's a dr in Austin tx that uses a laser machine but it's, like I said, $8500
