Obviously, it is sunburn; check for topical creams for sunburn that can be used around the eyes. I have been using SARNA for sensitive skin for other type of a rash, so that might also work.
Hello!! I have been dealing with this issue also.. I recently relocated from CO to NV.. all of a sudden one day I woke up with wrinkles under my eyes, skin rash, buring, irratation, swelling.. etc not to mention I'm only 25 so I should be far way from the wrinkle life!! lol
I suffered with this for about a year, it would flare up go away, flare up go away.. etc.. I've paid several copays to family drs, dermatoligists etc.. no answers!! One dr actually told me its called OLD AGE.. really?!?
Finally!! I went to an allergiest, I have allergies but on top of that got a secondary infection (Rash, wrinkles, swelling..etc) from my skin being that irratated.
I got a cream from the DR called desodine (desowen) OMG it does wonders!! My problem went away in 2/3 days!
Further more, I got testing for alleriges, I found out I'm allergic to several things, ie: food I enjoy eating and had eaten often, plants, molds, dogs etc.. When I was younger I wasn't allergic to anything!! So far after being treated for alleriges and the secondary rash I'm going strong with no problems!!
I have before and after pictures if any would like to see if your condition seems the same
I sure wish you would have told me the 3 cousin's name.
That is not what most of us have. That condition is more centerer on eyelashes. What we have is crusty, itchy red eye lids and puffiness under the eye or eyes. It progresses starting on one eye-lid and then to the under eye area - very puffy, red and dry.
I have the exact same symptoms! Any remedy yet?
try dr reddy's venusia max.. try and apply after every 2-3 hours... it will work.. plzz remember its no magic.. be patient...
I have had the same thing for a couple of months. I believe mine is caused by me wiping away tears caused by lack of sleep and allergies. I have also tried Neosporin, which did no good as far as redness. What I have finally found that reduces the redness significantly is applying organic coconut oil with a little therapeutic grade lavender. I melted about 1/8 tsp and added two drops of lavender. I apply it several times a day. My skin is still dry, but I've been applying A&D ointment and have Bronner's Baby Balm on order.

i pick my eyelashes a lot as a nervous tick and i got it 3 days ago and thought it was a ingrown eyelash or something. then i started to think it was like someone punhed me under the eye. the other comments on this page are extremely helpful cause i was kinda freaking out thinking a ghost might have punhed me in my sleep or worse my cats... idk lol ty everyone!
I'm just turning 39 & noticing that those little lines are just starting to creep up out of nowhere. So I did some research on what kind of eye creams I should use & bought a product with Retinol. Long story short, it made the lines worse & much more noticeable!!! I do not recommend Retinol.
So I stopped that immediately! Now I use the Made from Earth Chamomile Eye Therapy and I swear that it's life changing! I also switched to a less harsh facial wash from Made from Earth & I'm seeing a huge difference & getting so many compliments on my face.
My daughter got this same under eye dry red rash for years, on and off. She's 5 now and recently whist on a 2 month holiday, we noticed that whenever she drank the longlife shelf milk in the hotels (the small ones for coffee) the rash appeared wthin hours. The more of these she drank, the redder the rash. So now we realise it is due to some treated milk products, especially longlife milk. It was an allergic rash. Since she hasn't had any of this milk, she has been fine.
I was getting the rash in the corner of my left eye. My Optometrist told me the solution was to sleep on my right side and rash has disappeared. It was a result of irritation from excess fluid being produced during the night from my tear ducts or something like that. I didn't go too much into it as I was more interested in getting my eyesight tested but by sleeping on the other side the rash has disappeared.
what makes you say that
