The other day at work I was standing when all of a sudden I saw two red lights that looked like those lazer pens and they moved across thd back of a guy I work with. I thought for a second that somebody was pointing it through the window from the outside. Immediately I got dizzy then I realized it was me not lazer pens. Most of the time it's followed by a slight headache around the eyes, similar to a sinus headache. Somebody help me.

I had unexplained dizzines for close to 2 years, occasional tingle in left cheek, hands didn't feel like mine. Had CT scan, MRI, went to EENT and passed their tests, balance disorder therapist with infrared goggles said I had nastagmus while lying on my back and head rotated to the left. Sadness would overtake me when an "episode" would come on.
General feeling (but not always) like you are standing next to an elevator bank and the floor is moving, but your brain can't quite figure it out.
Self diagnosis: sternocleidomastoid syndrome (postural dizziness). watched some youtube videos on how to stretch it and modified my stretch... the stretch brought on or exacerbated feelings of dizziness. Be careful. Be gentle. Mine was painful with minimal stretching and I couldn't tolerate much at first. I only hold the stretch about 10 or so seconds only because it feels weird.
1) stand flat against a wall to promote proper posture. 2) do a chin tuck 3) laterally flex ear to shoulder using your hand to pull ear to shoulder. 4) here is the kicker. while doing this rotate (turn) your head the opposite direction away from the stretch. make sense?
I did this stretch a couple of days in a row and the dizziness subsided. If I feel "off", I do this stretch and it goes away.
I hope this works for anyone going through this.
I too have been lightheaded/dizzy for over 8 years now. I've been sent to every doctor/specialist there is and no one has figured out the problem. I was a healthy 29 year old, newly married girl when this all started and now I'm 37 and a mother of 2. My dizziness gets somewhat better and less noticeable for a while and then flares up for a month or two. I'm currently having a hard time again, and very close to going to a Mayo Clinic or somewhere like it for help. Any word on your situation?
If you're on meds, read carefully the info sheet that should come in the rx pkg. careflly read all info about symptoms. i had similar experience, only i was having halucinations, caused by the rx i had been taking. no more instances once i switched meds. good luck
Please let me know if you've found any solution to the dizziness.
