Hi fast feeling experiencers

Reply
I would get the same rushed feeling - sounds sounded louder and faster, movement seemed ultra fast too. I experiences this from the ages of maybe 7 or 8 to about age 20, thought the instances became less and less over the years. So I likely aged out - I also improved my lifestyle - diet and exercise. I live very healthfully now.

I'm 34 now and haven't had them in 5 or so years, then I had one tonight!

I used to think it was anxiety, but Alice in Wonderland Syndrome and migraine auras makes sense.

My mother gets a different kind of migraine auras (the more common light flashes), and my "fast feeling" was never preceded by the same thing like feeling stressed or upset or low blood sugar like some are suggesting.

Matter of fact, last night I was literally lying in bed with a fan on, quite relaxed and well fed - though I had experienced some dull headaches throughout the day due to allergies.

As a kid I was not necessarily under stress when these came on - maybe only one third of the time. It's comforting to at least have a name for it now!

It helps if you stop looking at technology and listen to music, I find this happens to me if the room is quiet for a long time while i'm looking at my computer.

I’m glad I’m not the only one I usually get them when I’m playing games on my phone

My son has had this 'fast feeling since he was about 8 he is now 14 and still has them, it scares him a lot. I have been trying to find something online over the years and am so pleased i have now. And relieved others have the same thing but seem to cope with it and it appears to get less frequent with age.
I hope someone figuresout what it is and what can be done, it could be a type of seizure I think.

That's a fantastic description... Tried explaining before but didn't come close. Hasn't happened anywhere near as much as I got older, kinda miss it. Wouldn't mind one for the road.

Like all of you I have also experienced this ‘fast feeling’ and would really like to know what causes it. It happened to me in recent years but I easily recalled the feeling from dreams I had when I was very young. I’m 15 years old and and asked my doctor about this, however like you have said it is difficult to explain and I only ended up making a fool of myself.

I think this may be correct as I personally originally felt this feeling of urgency in a dream/nightmare.

I just googled this because I am having the same thing right now. I used to get it all the time and its miserable.

Was the nightmare very abstract (I don't know what else to call it) where suddenly everything feels very small and then suddenly huge. Everything starts spinning uncontrollably. You feel like your head is being crushed under pressure. Suddenly you feel weaightless? I first had this nightmare when i was 6. And then they started to happen gradually. Then suddenly it stopped. And then i had that same dream today (I'm 19 now). I'm really screwed UP dude. It would really help me if you could share your experiences. Please contact me if possible.
