I am over weight and have bad spasms when bending over. I told the doctor it moves like a baby's inside. Did a CT and it showed an epigastric hernia.

i've had it for 3 months, it started when i was really stressed because we were moving. It hasn't stopped though! No other problems, healthy, aside from the fact i have NOT worked out since we've done this move, 3 months ago, wondering if my twitching is due to not using my muscles in my abs during my work outs!! ha...don't have a clue..but its annoying. Mine is on the right side, just posterior to my rib cage and medial but not midline. Argh...I haven't tried anything except a multivitamin for over 50 (thats me) and recently stopped taking that after 2 months of no change in this problem. I would like to know how long this is gonna last or if it will go away on its own, I would think it would "wear itself out" by now!!!

I have tried Magnesium, yogurt, bananas (potassium) and I'm not overweight, I stay hydrated, No longer stressed from the move 3 months ago, and I'm going crazy over this thing. I work in healthcare and really believe they'd tell me the same thing "nothing wrong" if i go to have it evaluated. Feel fine other than this obnoxious twitch!

Has anybody figured out what this is? Mine started acting like this today and I said it feel like a baby kicking. It's so weird and I'm concerned. It doesn't hurt, but it's like the muscles in there are exhausted and achy like it worked out too hard after some time. So gall bladder says pain in all the symptoms. Did the mag and potassium help anyone?

I also had that twitching in my right side toward the lower rib cage. It was my gallbladder and testing showed it was only working at 6%. I had it removed about 10 years ago and the twitching stopped. It just started happening again and I'm like what now! Went back to doctor for more test said everything is fine. They said it could be scar tissue from my gull bladder removal. It dosnt hurt but is annoying. Think I will try the magnesium to see if it works. Need to have test done to see how deficient I am. Most ailments are from deficiencies but a doctor won't tell you that they would rather have you sick because that is how they make money it's not right that's for sure.

I have the same thing happening but on some days I feel like I have morning sickness but I am not pregnant!?! Anyone know of a reason why this would be happening?

I have this abdominal twitch. No pain and unlike a quiet burp. It is more like a silent hiccup that doesn't quite reach the throat, not a flutter or muscle spasm. I thought I had a hiatal hernia but my doc says probably not. It doesn't happen all day long. More likely a few hours following a heavy meal. Just had a full blood workup and all blood chemistry is normal. No magnesium or potassium deficiency. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it may have started after beginning taking Xanax as a sleep aid.

I've had this too for a year, it's gone now. I read it could be Vagus nerve to do with over extended neck. So I straighten out when i feel it and it goes away. I hope this helps.

I have been experiencing this same exact thing for a while off & on but never for long periods of time until now. I have recently been to the doctor but this issue did not come up however my platelets levels are really high. I am concerned that the two are related. Tumor or some other problem perhaps. It really feels like a baby's foot fluttering around at the bottom right behind my rib cage. I have had a hysterectomy so it could not be a baby. OMG! this is very annoying. Has anyone found a cause for this issue yet?
