Hi everyone, I would like to share my experience with this because I am having those twitching/spasm symptoms again. First time I encountered this was in my twenties and I thought I was having a heart attack because I didn't know what was going on since i never experienced that before. It was a time in my life that I had a lot of stress and it just hit me out of nowhere. I went to the ER, docs, went to a major medical facility of tests and everyone said I was fine. I know I'm not fine. I ended up going to see an old friend's father who was a gastro doc and he knew right away what was going on an prescribed me Librax. He said take it for a month with meals and you should be fine. So I did what he suggested and it worked like a charm. The 1-2 punch of the chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride to calm my stress and the clidinium bromide which is an antispasmatic knocked it right out and I felt great for 10 years until It came back when I had a flood of high stress. Right now I am having trouble finding a doc to prescribe Librax since its an older drug but its a drug that worked for me and has minimal side effects and drug interactions. Not sure why its not used more often. Maybe because of the push for antipsychotics like zoloft and prozac. I just wanted to share my story in hopes that it will work for others as it did for me.

I have been experiencing this also. My gastro dr right away said stomach spasms. He prescribed a med to be taken as needed. I really don't like taking pills, antacids are about it! I may try the magnesium.

My stomach has been twitching nearly a year; Oct makes a year. My primary doesn't know what it is so she now put me on Ropinirole which is used for restless leg. I been taking the pills for a week and it hasn't changed. I think she is sending me to a Neurologist next.I know at times its very violent and yes, it does feel like a baby kicking. I am 62 no chance of being pregnant. I have read on here that we might need magnesium. I am willing to try that. I also notice it more at night

Fasciculations is simply the term for muscle spasm. Please don't try to scare people.

I'm going through this right now, yet it is on my right side. Feels like a baby kicking. It's not gas. Lol. Bm's are fairly regular for me. This is not a pain....more a spasm, or a foot. Frustrating.

I have had the same tingling, balloon like oressure under my right rib for a month. Sometimes it radiates to my right upper back. Mostly while sitting up or leaning forward. US, Ct scan, blood work all negative. I have been a nurse for 14 yrs and can't put these symptoms together. This makes me feels nuts. I had a chest x ray of my right lung today, not sure yet of the results. I came across diaphragmatic hernias, though congenital, can occur in adults. It just makes sense that possibly my liver or small intestine, pushing up through a weakened diaphragm, pushing on the base of the right lung.

I too have had the twitch, and I am still breast feeding and taking all of the vitamins and supplements necessary (so it's not a magnesium or potassium thing). I'm stressed, exhausted, and overall healthy (it's not being overweight). As a previous person mentioned, it's gas moving through your intestines, and stool that is getting past blockages. I notice it happening when I'm not active and gassy. So move some, go for a walk, and drink lots of liquids
