I experience this occasionally. Especially when I am gassy. I am 36, female, and I have not had intercourse in a over a year. Not pregnant. According to some site:

"Fatigue and stress can also cause abdominal fluttering. The muscles in the abdomen spasm because of tension in the body, which produces a fluttering sensation. Excess gas or acid in the gastrointestinal tract are potential causes as well. Bowel disorders are a common cause of abdominal fluttering."

I was getting this too but mine was upper left side and then it ended up being middle of my stomache quite low. Its a creepy feeling. Ater reading this forum I went and bought some over the counter worm treatment tablets. Took double the dose (lol ) to make sure it was dead. And 12 hours later its completely stopped. I reckon I had a worm.

I have the same movement and had a test done. It's my gall bladder. I was diagnosed with Low Functioning Gallbladder! Anything under 35% they recommend removing, and I was at 29%. That was over a year ago and I still have my Gallbladder. But I can truly say it's getting worst and will have to have the surgery soon. It moves all the time now. Almost feels like a cramp now!

Today, I had a sharp pain on the side of my left rib cage, I lied down on my back and stretch my arm out. I got up because the pain was unbearable. I than began feeling movement under my right rib cage. I have been having trouble with heartburn and some nausea. I'm leaning toward maybe it is acid reflux, but not sure.
