I'm having the same issues, and thought I'd Google it to see what I find. I'm 55 and overweight and definitely not pregnant, but I've been having sudden random pains in the right side of my belly just below my rib cage. Mine is a sudden sharp pain out of nowhere. Just had one while sitting here on the sofa with my laptop and found this site. Strange and kinda scary. I've had gastro problems for years now and have a colonoscopy and endoscopy every few years. I still have my gallbladder. I've had left pain/tenderness for years on my belly and have had a CT and nothing could be found, but this is something new on the opposite side. Getting old sucks.

Wow, I read thru so much on this site, but yours was the only logical one to me. I too had an ultra sound and am waiting for results, however parasites seem so reasonable to me. I have no place
I can think of where I got them, but understand and appreciate your description. I will look into this for sure. It drives me crazy too.

What type of medication did you take to get rid of this?

What did the doctor say it was?

Yes, male here, too. Is it an alien life-form that's going to burst out? Definitely feels like something kicking in there! No pain at all, just weird. Some kind of muscle spasm?

It could have something to do with kundalini energy.

Mine hurtswhen it moves! I've had this for years. I thought it might be a hiatal hernia but never had it confirmed. No insurance. Ugh.

I hope this help as I was having this same problem. However I found this interesting while reading up on which side to sleep on. I am going for an ultrasound to just make sure everything is okay with me but this seems to be the culprit. I am praying that this is my issue as well. I pray everything works out for everyone on these posts.

"The small intestine dumps waste through the ileocecal valve (ICV) on the right side of the body into the beginning of the large intestine. The large intestine travels up the right side of your belly the across the tummy, where it dumps waste into the descending colon on the left side.

Sleeping on the left side allows gravity to encourage the food waste to move more easily from the small intestine into the large intestine through the ICV.

As the night wears on and you continue to sleep on your left side, the waste moves more easily into the descending colon. With the help of gravity and a good night’s sleep on the left the side, the descending colon is full of waste to easily eliminate completely each morning."

I have a similar issue. Started with my right along rib cage x 1 month ago. Felt like muscle folded over and trying to cramp daily with pain. Very uncomfortable and wierd. Kinda like it cathes from time to time. Now I have something that feels like it's moving around in my belly x 2 days. Started on right, now on left side and much lower. I'm also male, 46, but it feels like something moving in me. Hopimg it's just gas but never felt it before and I'm normal with movements. I found the remote so I'm good there. :-). Please let me know if any thing is found out and I'll do the same. Take care....

I had the same sensation while severly vomiting last year, I had never thrown up so hard in my life (pretty sure it was good poisoning) I freaked out & called husband in the bathroom because all if the sudden my guts were moving, to the point that I could feel it on the outside. It felt exactly like a baby moving inside! (Mother if 5, had a hysterectomy years ago) I think my intestines got twisted from the wrenching of vomiting so hard. Now every now & then if I use my stomach muscles in a certain way it happens again. I believe that my abdominal walls are weak. That's my opinion anyway.

I have this same feeling of movement. I attributed it recent removal of my gallbladder. A couple of months after the gallbladder surgery I had to have some stones removed from my bile ducts. Most of the movement started after that surgery.
