Ok so I have had this going on for over 4 years, it starts as a hardening sensation in my abdomen on the right side right below my ribs then severe pain and a spasm that is so prominent it can be seen from across the room. I had my galbladder removed in December 09 and still no change in symptoms. I have Celiac disease and am on a strict Gluten Free diet. Still no change in symptoms. I have had EGD's Ct scans Ultrasounds, a stomache emptying study, blood work that always comes back with an elavated white cell count ( yet not high enough to concern the doc) and still nothing. I know I can't possibly be the only one to ever experience this. HELP!!!!!!!! I have spent thousands of dollars in copays going to the ER where they simply send you home with drugs and going to my pcp who does nothing and going to a top rated Gastroenterologist.....still nada. I spend so much time looking online at sites trying to self diagnose or at least get some confirmation that I am not nuts. I just really need some help
I too have had these kinds of spasms for years. In my late forties now. The pain can last for several hours and is debilitating - strong cramping spasming pain. I have gone to a GI specialist - ultrasounds and colonoscopy - no negative results. Barium test - no acid reflux. This is a real mystery. GP thinks it's muscle spasms. Does anyone think there is a link to food allergies?
hey u are not nuts i am experience those same type of feeling in my stomach to having all kind of test done and nothing they keep telling me it acid reflux and i also deal with anxiety daily .so i am confuse to help !!!! me also
Do you drink milk? If your allergic it can cause musel spasms .
