I am 10 weeks pregnant and I had my first appointment with my doctor yesterday. She questioned my dates because my uterus is large and high. And we could not hear the heart beat. She sent me for an emergency Ultrasound and thats where they found a cyst. The cyst muffled the sound of the babys heart beat. I saw the baby and the heart beat. But my doctor says that the cyst is rather large and must be removed. I have not had any cramping or bleeding or pains at all. So we were all very surprised. I am extremely scared. My other pregnancies were great no problems at all. If anyone has any info they could share with me It would be greatly appreciated. I have so many questions but have not had a chance to talk to my doctor about it yet. I now have to wait to see if i have to go to McMaster or if they can do it here in my home town.
