I had a partial hysterectomy in July. Over the past few weeks, I have been red & irritated, with very little, clear discharge. I went to my doctor, who looked at me 2 seconds & said it was bacteria. I used the medicine, but it does not seem any better. Durind sex, I have some pain & burning. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I don't think it is yeast....
Go see your doctor again and make him spend more than 2 seconds with you. If he does not get to the root of your problem with a couple more visits. Go see another (better) doctor.
Hi! Did you ever get this question answered? I have the same problem. I have the exact same situation: had a partial h in July 08 and have had chronic UTIs (apparently due to staph bacteria-I had a urologist look at my bladder and there was NOTHING wrong, I guess). As I continually "get treated" with antibiotics, I am worried there may be an underlying problem. Maybe one that wasn't there until I had my surgery...... please let me know where you are with this. Ican't even have sex without bleeding all over-he told me I had vaginismus, which is where my muscles are very tightly contracted down there. Okay? Well, now what? So, he ordered dilators to help the muscles loosen up. I don't think the bleeding that's coming out in my pee has anything to do with my muscles down there, though.
