When I go to urinate it burns....no itching, no discharge...the burning seems to happen when the urine hits a certain area of the vaginal opening...my vagina aches for several days and then it stops...The area seems a little red.

Sexual intercourse does not seem to play a part in it, because it happens whether I have sex or not. And I did receive a clean bill of sexual health several months ago. I have not changed partners.

Any ideas?

I am going to make a doctor's appointment but was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar.

I noticed the feeling of burning 2 weeks after I had a 3-some with a woman and a man. The man had just recovered from colon cancer and could have transmitted microscopic bacteria to my vulva and colon, which I believe is very difficult to treat. {Obviously} ...
Living in a large populated country with wealth and sex, you'd think that the medical field would be more prepared or have a cure for all sexual transmitted diseases.
