So very glad for this site.
4 days ago I had a 2 biopsys and an ECC of the cervix. The procedure was a breeze, afterwards was not so pleasant, very little bleeding/discharge, had minor cramping, extremely tired, and my cervix felt like the size of a golf ball, I have experienced sharp pain a few times in that area..
Slept 12 hours that evening. Every day after was getting better.
I did notice after I would relieve myself some tissue or something will be in the toilet.
Well, today after I showered I walked from the bathroom to my bedroom to dress, I felt something wet declining from inner thigh, I thought I was peeing myself which never happened, as I looked down I saw a approximately 2" in diameter piece of yuck
That fell out of me on the floor.
I thought wth?.. took a picture of it, good Lord, yes I did! Called the dr who was not in.. I was told by the medical receptionist who had an attitude, that I will be fine.
I asked her if I should order a birth certificate for what I just gave birth to or just put it under my pillow for the cervix fairy.
She lightened up and said, if you have any bleeding or pain contact us.
I flushed.
I'm very hopeful for positive results for all of you women!!
I just had my colposcopy done today. She biopsied 2 seperate areas in my cervix. I swear when I wipe it feels swollen to me. I thought I was going crazy too. It's also slightly itchy. As crazy as it is, I had my husband look at it, twice today. I thought maybe I was having some kind of reaction. How did yours clear up? Please tell me it goes away quickly on its own!
I had the same skin like discharge.

I had my biopsy three days ago and I hated it. My doctor did not inform me about anything I was about to go thru or anything. They took a chunk of my cervix and when they did it felt as if my water broke.. Blood poured out of me!! No exaggerations! Ive been bleeding since then and today it seems to be getting worse and its like black things are coming out as well & the smell is awful!! What the hell is going on??
I just had this happen this morning. I noticed a lot of posts on here saying that their doctor didn't tell them about this. Well, same here. I'm a little pissed that they don't tell you this at all! You're already have a problem, that's why your having the test in the first place. Why wouldn't they tell you that you might see something that looks pretty bizarre come out of you? I haven't been spotting, so I haven't been wearing a pad. Just thankful I wasn't at work.
My doctor didn't even mention that this could happen and it did happen to me as well. I was pretty scared. Did anyone else have a doc that mentioned that this may happen after the procedure?Would have been rather helpful information and would have prevented my panic attack. Lol.
Thank goodness for this post. I had a biopsy yesterday (my 4th one) and everything went okay. But tonight after I played a baseball game I came home to go to the bathroom and I had an odd discharge (like a wad of paper almost but it looked like skin). I started panicking so I googled and came across this post. First time this has happened in all my biopsys.. I panicked because it looks bad, almost like a miscarriage. I'm almost alleviated to see that others experience the same thing. Why the heck don't doctors tell us???
I was told about the "coffee grounds" but not the big wad of tissue. That was more concerning than the entire ordeal. A heads up would have been nice!
Thank God for crazy forums like this!! I was ready to call an attorney thinking the Dr left something inside of me :( It's gross I know but I saved the glob and took pictures.....called my Dr cause I needed answers!
I would personally use a different doctor if she told u to go to the internet how rude
I had a colposcopy done yesterday. Nothing too bad just some discharge and cramps. Today, I have a little cramping but OMG it burns and hurts. I put prescription cream on from the last time I had a yeast infection, it burned more. So I put some. Vagasil cream and it's a little better now just uncomfortable! It feels like a yeast infection-could it be one?
This literally JUST happened to me, so naturally I go on the internet to see what the hell could be the issue! So glad to see that this seems to be the procedure! Just had mine done on tuesday withan an ECC as well....very rough.

For how long? And did u douche to help it out?
