So I'm going to be straightforward of what my questions are. I had a microscopic bilateral varicoceletomy and hydrocele tommy done exactly 20 days ago.
1. I masturbated about 5 times since I had this procedure done 20 days ago. Does masturbating cause varicocele recurrence?
2. It's been 20 days and I can still feel the veins on both sides that have been ligated but they're a lot harder than I expected. Are the veins being hard or stiff a normal side effect of this surgery and how long does it usually take for them to finally die off. And should I still be icing at this point or will the coldness be detrimental to the healing process?
3. How long should I refrain from sports and how long should I wear a jock strap for?
** I know these are questions I should ask my urologist but I'm going for the post op in a couple of days so I wanted to get another persons opinions beforehand.**
