Sorry ma'am, that was not the reason for my itch.I went from docter to docter to Gyno and NOTHING any of them subscribed worked at all. It cost me thousands of rands to no avail, so sugar was not my problem as this was checked by every single dr I went to. They all did diffirent tests but came up with nothing........so my solution worked like a bom.......I notified my drs what I did and they were all amazed and said that they will tell their patients about this in the future...2 of my Drs came back to me thanking me because it worked for their patients as well........7

Hallo. thanks for your input, but that was not my problem either. I also thought something might have gotten into it like hair or dust or something but was checked and it wasnt that. It just cleared up after I used Baby powder and it is now a year ago and it hasnt been back and I am not using any baby powder anymore.

I had the itching and went to an old DR. and He told me it was related to menopause .but it could happen to girls before their first periods. I think it's due to a hormone or something. He said there was no cure for it. just gave me a cream for it. but If I eat a lot of sugars or wheat it makes it worse. if anyone has anything on this I would love to have your opinion.

sounds like an std, go to a clinic immediately.

It's probably a yeast infection.

I have this too! it's very itchy and only hurts when I scratch it, but there's no discharge nor does it burn when I pee!

It's most likely, especially if you've just taken a course of antibiotics, that you have what's called a yeast infection in the vaginal hood and clitoris. It comes from an overgrowth of candida yeast that can happen when an antibiotic kills the good bacteria in your system. Antibiotics kill both good and bad bacteria, and yeasts take advantage of the favorable conditions and grow like crazy--especially if your body is too acidic overall, as most people's are.

Immediate relief: go get some Tea Tree Oil at Wal-Mart or a health-food store (some supermarkets now carry it, too). You can use it full-strength or dilute it with a little warm water. Use a cotton ball (or some tissue) to bathe the area with the Oil. Do not reuse the cotton balls or tissues! It may tingle a little (but not burn), depending on how irritated your skin is, but should be a real relief--right away. Keep using this until you get better.

If you go to your dr., you will probably get an antifungal cream. Remember, doctors don't know a lot about natural remedies or nutrition, b/c they only get one semester on these subjects. Besides, they are (unfortunately) educated to "push pills."

The chief reason a woman gets a yeast infection is DIET and the overall pH of her individual body. Eat more alkalinizing foods and lay off sugars of all kinds; sugar directly feeds yeasts like candida. Educate yourself! Best wishes.

Your story sounds all to familiar. I hate to be the one to say this but, i advise u to go to the doctor. A pealing penis rash is never a good thing. I noticed the same thing on the guy i was involved with and now, i have to deal with the out come for the rest of my life. Much luck!:

me too. I notice it after leaving my gym legging on a bit long after I worked out.

i am not sexually active and have not been over a year so it should not be std since i got checked this year. i will try the yeast infection cream.
