ischarge was exeptionally smelly...
it is no longer brownish but a yellow discharge... it is also smelling quite bad, slightly fishy...

it is possible that you have a vaginal infection known as bacterial vaginosis. This is a common condition, estimated to affect between 10 and 20 percent of women. Changes in the nature and number of organisms within the vagina lead to a reduction in acidity and a consequent increase in the growth of infective bacteria, e.g. Gardnerella vaginalis.
The infection is important, as it may increase the risk of pre cancerous changes occurring in the neck of the womb or cervix. When present during pregnancy, it is linked to an increased likelihood of pre-term birth.
Patients often complain of a thin discharge, which has a characteristic fishy smell, although the infection can be symptom free. Discuss things with your doctor and they will be able to assess your condition and arrange treatment as appropriate. Bacterial vaginosis is usually cleared up by the prescription of a single 2gm dose of metronidazole antibiotic.

I went to the doctor and she said it was the left over blood from my last period.
well it could be clymedia how ever u spell it because i had the same symptoms so u might want to go to the doctor
Its called bacterial vaginosis. No biggie. Doc will give you Flagyl. Just had to go get it myself
